Blue Monday

It’s Monday, the snow is falling (here at least) and the weather forecast for the coming days is quite nightmarish for a good part of Europe. It seems that the blue sky has vanished for ever… That would be a good reason to have something blue on the wrist, wouldn’t it ?

Seiko is quite famous for its blue dials, it is probably the most common colour they used for their dials (considering that white, black & silver are not colours) and they still produce popular “blue” models (Grand Seiko, Presage).

I just listed three Seikos with blue dials, one being a quite early production (1968), coloured dials having appeared at the end of the 60’s. Before that, dials were white, champagne, golden, silver or black…

Have a nice week.
