Stunning Citizen Cosmotron Electronic from 1975, in good original condition.
The movement of this watch is electro mechanical (like in the Lip Electric model). The 7804 Cosmotron calibre has an electronically controlled balance, it runs at 36,000 bph. It has a unique day / date quickset since they can be set by pushing the crown with either 12 at top (for the date) or at bottom (for the day). Clever.
Nice turkish green dial with a wavy pattern, baton hands and raised metal indexes. Days in kanji and english and date at 3.
The stainless steel case is 38 mm wide, with a screw back. Original CTZ crown.
The movement holds excellent time, a new battery will be fitted before shipment.
Vintage watch with unknown history but checked and cleaned (2020/05). Water resistance non tested.
