Brand new JDM Seiko Presage SARY195 with its original box and papers.
This model mixes very nicely the sporty design of a diver’s watch and the elegance of a cocktail watch. The dial is deep green, the colour is discernable when the sun shines. In darker places, it looks black. The matte khaki green bezel is beautiful.
The movement is the well known 4R35 which fits most of the Presage range.
I checked the calibre, it runs very smoothly at ca +2 s/d.
The stainless steel bracelet has spare links.
A very nice model, rarely seen outside Asia.
The brand
Introducing Seiko would be useless, it is the most important manufacturer in the world. Founded 120 years ago, it really begun to be a leader in the 60’s/70’s thanks to their automatic watches and of course with their quartz models.
Seiko invented many concepts (analogic and LCD quartz, Kinetic watches, Spring Drive, etc) and marketed all sorts of designs. Its range of watches is incredibly wide, answering almost all budget, design or quality questions.
