Description

Gorgeous and unusual Seiko 2220-3172 from June 1974. Beautiful shiny steel case in good condition with some tiny dents. Navy blue dial with roman numbers hour markers and trapezoidal hands. Original crystal in good condition, with minor scratches.

The calibre is an in-house hand wound Seiko 2220 with 24 jewels beating at 28,800 bph. It has been serviced and is holding good time (+5 s/d).

The milanaise stainless steel bracelet is original to the watch.

This model belongs to the “Chariot” range, which was quite expensive in the 70’s, its selling price was above a Lord Marvel, a Lord Matic or even a 6105 “Cpt Willard”.

Vintage watch with unknown history but serviced (05/2023), checked and cleaned. Water resistance non tested.
