Description
Unusual Seiko 5 Sportsmatic 6619-9040 in good condition. It was released in 1966 according to its serial number. These Seiko Sportsmatic are a must have imo, they look modern and are reliable, so they are perfectly suited for an every day use.
This watch is in its original condition, nice flawless champagne dial, dauphine hands and steel indexes. Day (in Japanese) and date at 3 o’clock. The case is in very good condition, with minor wear. The specific bezel has some light wear.
The movement is a Seiko 21-jewel automatic 6619. It works fine, holds very good time and is according to my experience one of the most reliable mid-range automatic movements ever made by Seiko.
The crystal is in good condition.
Finally, the watch comes with a new brown leather band.
Vintage watch with unknown history but checked (February, 2023) and cleaned.
