Description
Splendid vintage King Seiko 44KS 4402-8000 from 1966. Nice stainless steel case in good condition with only minor wear, original SW signed crown. White dial with some tiny spots, thin steel hour markers. Date at 3 o’clock, with a working quickset.
The watch is in its original condition including the acrylic crystal. It has some minor scratches and chips on the rim, near the date.
The hand wound Seiko 4402 movement is clean, has just been serviced (replacement of the setting lever spring) and is holding very good time (+ 5 s/j), the balance having a good amplitude.
Finally, the watch comes with a brand new “ostrich” leather band.
Vintage watch with unknown history but checked and cleaned (12/2022). Water resistance non tested.
