Description
Beautifulvintage Seiko King KS 4502-7000 Hi-Beat 36000 from 1970 in its gold plated version. Case with some normal minor wear, original KS signed crown. White dial with thin steel hour markers, dauphine hands. Date at 3 o’clock, with a working quickset and instant shift.
The watch is in its original condition, I just replaced the glass crystal.
The hand wound Seiko 4502 movement is clean, has just been serviced and is holding excellent time (+ 4 s/j), the balance having a good amplitude.
Finally, the watch comes with a brand new black leather band.
Vintage watch with unknown history but checked and cleaned (12/2022). Water resistance non tested.

King Seiko (or later Seiko KS) is a range of high grade watches made by Seiko from 1961 to 1975. The first models were hand winding only watches, until the introduction of the automatic Seiko 56KS in 1968.
The brand
Introducing Seiko would be useless, it is the most important manufacturer in the world. Founded 120 years ago, it really begun to be a leader in the 60’s/70’s thanks to their automatic watches and of course with their quartz models.
Seiko invented many concepts (analogic and LCD quartz, Kinetic watches, Spring Drive, etc) and marketed all sorts of designs. Its range of watches is incredibly wide, answering almost all budget, design or quality questions.
