Description
Very nice vintage Seiko Seikomatic Weekdater 6206-8040 from November 1965. Nice 37 mm stainless steel case with screw back, white dial and dauphine hands in good condition. The hands are quite particular with that central striped part. The days are written in japanese Kanji.
The case has some normal minor wear.
The Seikomatic Weekdater range is classy, quite big and reliable.
The Seiko 6206 movement is clean, has just been serviced and is holding very good time (+10 s/j), the balance having an good amplitude (250°).
New brown leather band, acrylic crystal in good condition.
Vintage watch without any known history but serviced (02/2023), checked and cleaned. Water resistance non tested.
