Beautiful Citizen Jet Auto Dater from 1965 fitted with one of these iconic Citizen “Jet” calibre from the 1120 series. This range of movements didn’t have a standard oscillating weight as you can see, but a rotating ring which winds the mainspring. This is very specific to Citizen and is probably unique in the world of automatic watches.
The 36 mm stainless steel case is in good condition, the dial has some wear.
The movement has been serviced and holds good time (+/- 20 s/day). As you can see, the rotor has some stain but it doesn’t affect the rotation of the weight, neither the winding mechanism.
