Beautiful early Seiko 5 Sportsmatic in good overall condition. It was released in September 1964 according to its serial number. These vintage Seiko Sportsmatic are a must have imo, they look modern and are reliable, so they are perfectly suited for an every day use.
This watch is in its original condition, nice white dial, dauphine hands and steel indexes. Day (in english) and date at 3 (with date only quickset). The case of this early Sportsmatic is made of chromed brass, it is in worn condition as shown on the pictures.
The movement is a Seiko 6619. It works fine, holds very good time and is according to my experience one of the most reliable mid-range automatic movements ever made by Seiko. The watch has been serviced in May, 2020.
The plexi is good condition, as is the dark brown leather band.
