In den sp\u00e4ten neunziger Jahren bot Seiko nur ein kleines Sortiment an mechanischen Uhren an. Abgesehen von der Seiko 5-Reihe, die auf dem 7S26-Uhrwerk basierte, enthielt der Katalog nur wenige Modelle auf Basis der Kaliber 6810 und 4Sxx, darunter die begehrte Alpinist 4S15, einige Dresswatches mit dem Kaliber 4S24\/4S25 und die \u201eS\u201c-Reihe, darunter die GMT 4S12 und die einfachere Milit\u00e4ruhr 4S15 (SCFF001 und SCFF003). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In diesem Beitrag konzentrieren wir uns auf das GMT-Modell SCFF005 und seine roten (SCFF007) und blauen (SCFF009) Varianten.

Pr\u00e4sentation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Das Design von SCFF ist an die Produktion von Seiko in den sp\u00e4ten 90er Jahren angelehnt. Die Uhr sieht recht kompakt und dick aus, ist aber nicht zu gro\u00df, das Geh\u00e4use ist weniger als 40 mm breit. Die H\u00f6he des Geh\u00e4uses verleiht dem Zifferblatt ein Gef\u00fchl von Tiefe. Die beiden Hauptzeiger sind sehr gut lesbar, der GMT-Zeiger ist viel diskreter und man sieht ihn vielleicht nicht einmal. Beide Kronen befinden sich auf der rechten Seite. Das Geh\u00e4use hat keine \u00d6sen, das Armband ist vollst\u00e4ndig integriert, was damals ziemlich Standard war.

Das Zifferblatt & Zeiger<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Das schwarze Zifferblatt hat vier Metallindizes, die bei 12, 3, 6 und 9 Uhr angebracht sind. Sie haben an der Au\u00dfenseite ein leuchtendes Rechteck. Die Beschriftung ist schlicht gehalten, das Seiko-Logo ist unter der 12-Uhr-Markierung aufgedruckt, gefolgt von der Angabe \u201eAutomatic\u201c. Auf der unteren H\u00e4lfte des Zifferblatts ist ein rotes \u201eS\u201c aufgedruckt. Schlie\u00dflich und wie \u00fcblich sind am unteren Rand die Referenzen des Uhrwerks und des Zifferblatts (8010) angegeben.
Jede Minute ist auf einem recht breiten Teil des Zifferblattrandes aufgedruckt.
Der Stundenzeiger ist ein wei\u00dfes Rechteck, das mit Leuchtmasse gef\u00fcllt ist, der Minutenzeiger ist ein Bleistift, der ebenfalls mit Leuchtmasse gef\u00fcllt ist. Der GMT-Zeiger ist versilbert, ausgeschnitten und nur die Spitze leuchtet. Der Sekundenzeiger ist wei\u00df.
Das Datumsfenster befindet sich bei 4 Uhr.
Um das Zifferblatt herum befindet sich eine drehbare Innenl\u00fcnette, auf der die 24 Markierungen aufgedruckt sind, die einen Tag ergeben. Die geraden Stunden sind als Zahlen aufgedruckt, die ungeraden als kleine Rechtecke. Um die GMT-Funktion zu nutzen, m\u00fcssen Sie den GMT-Zeiger und die Zeitzonenverschiebung aufeinander abstimmen. Leider l\u00e4sst sich die GMT-L\u00fcnette nicht arretieren und die Einstellung bleibt m\u00f6glicherweise nicht an Ort und Stelle, wenn Sie die Einstellkrone ber\u00fchren. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Das Geh\u00e4use und das Armband<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Mit weniger als 40 mm Durchmesser mag das Geh\u00e4use in der Theorie klein erscheinen, aber mit den beiden gro\u00dfen Kronen, dem integrierten Armband und seiner Dicke von 14 mm sieht das SCFF005 am Handgelenk ziemlich gro\u00df aus. Die oberen Fl\u00e4chen sind horizontal geb\u00fcrstet, beide Seiten des Geh\u00e4uses sind poliert. Die L\u00fcnette ist ebenfalls poliert. Der verschraubte Boden ist transparent und auf dem Glas ist eine silberne Weltkarte aufgedruckt.
Der Kristall besteht aus dickem Hardlexglas und ist leicht gew\u00f6lbt.
Das Armband hat d\u00fcnne Glieder, die an einige \u00e4ltere Armb\u00e4nder aus den 70er Jahren erinnern, wie man sie insbesondere bei einigen LM- und LM-Sondermodellen sieht. Die Faltschlie\u00dfe ist mit einem Sicherheitsschloss mit der Signatur Seiko versehen.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Die Bewegung<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Das Seiko 4S12-Uhrwerk ist ein Erbe des 52xx, das Anfang der 70er Jahre mit dem Seiko LM Special und dem KS Special eingef\u00fchrt wurde. Es ist ein ziemlich anspruchsvolles Kaliber mit 25 Steinen und einer Schlagfrequenz von 28.000 Halbschwingungen pro Stunde. Es kann von Hand aufgezogen werden und verf\u00fcgt \u00fcber eine Sekundenstoppfunktion. Der GMT-Zeiger ist einfach fest mit dem Hauptstundenzeiger verbunden, dreht sich jedoch \u00fcber ein Zwischenrad in 24 Stunden einmal vollst\u00e4ndig. Das bedeutet, dass der GMT-Zeiger nicht einzeln eingestellt werden kann, wie dies bei einem echten GMT-Uhrwerk m\u00f6glich ist. Und das bedeutet auch, dass Sie die Dualzeit auf der inneren drehbaren L\u00fcnette ablesen m\u00fcssen, die richtig eingestellt werden muss, um der gew\u00fcnschten Zeitzone zu entsprechen.
Diese Uhrwerkfamilie ist sehr zuverl\u00e4ssig.

Abschlie\u00dfend<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Diese Seiko S GMT ist sehr attraktiv. Die schwarze Version wirkt recht schlicht, die blauen und roten sind flippiger und auff\u00e4lliger. Dieses Modell vermittelt ein Gef\u00fchl von Robustheit. Das 4S12-Uhrwerk geh\u00f6rt meiner Meinung nach zu den besten Uhrwerken der mittleren\/hohen Preisklasse von Seiko und sollte ein Kaufargument sein. Heute k\u00f6nnte diese SCFF eine gute Investition sein.
