Seiko 5606
The Seiko 5606 movement has been introduced in 1968 as the automatic mid range movement. It was an automatic day and date calibre beating at 21,600 bph, with 23 or 25 jewels. The day disc was printed in two languages (English + another one, Kanji, German, French, Spanish, etc.) It had a quickset for both of them.
It was used in the Seiko Lord Matic (LM) and the Seiko Emblem range until ca 1976. It was used for export models too, not bleonging to any particular range.
