Description
The massive design of this Seiko 5 Sports is impressive (41 mm). It was released in April 1970 according to its serial number.
The watch is in good original condition, the crystal is new and the stainless steel bracelet is in very good condition. It is Seiko signed but is not original to the watch.
Gorgeous black dial with “luminous” hour markers, bâtons minute and hour hands (with patina) and triangle second hand. Inner rotating bezel. Day (in english and kanji) and date at 3.
The movement is a Seiko 21-jewel automatic 7019 with a day/date quickset. It has just been serviced (May, 2021), it works fine (+/- 15 s/d).
The overall condition is good, the big pillow case has been slighlty polished and has some light wear, the dial is in excellent condition. The hands have a little patina.
Definetely a gorgeous vintage Seiko watch, in good condition.
Vintage watch with unknown history but serviced, checked and cleaned. Water resistance non tested (so no dipping or shower with this watch).
