beautiful early vintage Seiko 5 Sportsmatic Deluxe 7606 Waterproof 30 in good overall condition. It was released in June 1964 according to its serial number. These Seiko Sportsmatic Deluxe are an enhanced version of the 5 Sportsmatic with a date quickset (with a dedicated pusher), a stainless steel case and a better finishing.
This watch is in its original condition, nice white dial with some minor patina, dauphine hands and steel indexes. Day (in english) and date at 3 (with quickset). The case is in good condition, with some normal wear for its age.
The movement is a Seiko 23-jewel automatic 7606. It works fine, holds good time (gaining about 15 s a day), the amplitude of the balance being 260°.
The crystal is new, the steel band is an old Seiko model, in good condition. It’s not original to the watch but probably close to what it should be.
Vintage watch with unknown history but checked, serviced (2021/10) and cleaned. Water resistance non tested.
