Description
Beautiful Seiko 5 Sportsmatic 6619-9010 in good overall condition. It was released in July 1966 according to its serial number. These vintage Seiko Sportsmatic are a must have imo, they look modern and are reliable, so they are perfectly suited for an every day use.
This watch is in its original condition, nice black dial with some spots, sword hands and steel indexes. Day (in english) and date at 3 (with quickset). The case of this latter Sportsmatic is made of stainless steel, it has some normal wear for its age. The inner surrounding bezel has some stain at 5.
The movement is a Seiko 6619 21-jewel automatic. It works fine, holding very good time and is according to my experience one of the most reliable mid-range automatic movements ever made by Seiko. The watch has been serviced in June, 2020.
The crystal is good condition, the dark brown leather rallye band is new.
Vintage watch with unknown history but checked and cleaned. Water resistance non tested.
