Description
Unusual vintage Seiko Lord Matic 5606-7160, from june 1971, fitted with a mid range 5606 automatic movement, with stop second and manual winding. This “Lord Matic” range was introduced in 1968 and was discontinued in ca 1975.
The overall condition of this watch is good but with some light wear on the case. The grey dial and the hands are clean and in good condition.
The movement is holding good time (+/- 10 s/d) but please take note that the day & date quickset doesn’t work anymore. This is a common issue on the Seiko 5606 calibre, probably more than 90% of them are affected. However, the day and the date can be manually and individually set by rotating the hands, for- and backwards to set the date and with 2 entire rotation (24h) to set the day. The days can be set in english or kanji.
The acrylic crystal is new as is the steel band.
A beautiful model, in good conditon.
Vintage watch with unknown history but serviced (2020/03) checked and cleaned. Water resistance non tested.
The pictures are actual and part of the description, so take attention to them.
