Description
Somptuous Citizen Jet Auto Dater from 1965 fitted with one of these iconic Citizen “Jet” calibre from the 4100 series. This range of movements didn’t have a standard oscillating weight as you can see, but a rotating ring which winds the mainspring. This is very specific to Citizen and is probably unique in the world of automatic watches.
The 36.5 mm stainless steel case is in good condition, the black textured dial is flawless. The date is displayed at 3 and the day at 12 o’clock.
The movement has been serviced (05/2023) and keeps good time (+ 10 s/day). The date quickset is working.
The crystal is in very good condition. New black leather band.
Vintage watch without known history but checked and cleaned. Water resistance non tested.
