Gorgeous and unusual Citizen Homer Second Setting fitted with a Citizen 0911 mechanical movement featuring the hacking second (hence the name “Second Setting”).
The 36 mm stainless steel case is in good condition, the dial is flawless. Its white color and wide diametre are making the watch looking much bigger than its actual 36 mm.
This model has been designed for the Japanese National Railways but this example strangely hasn’t any engravings on the back. Maybe it hasn’t been actually attributed to a railway line and was kept as spare.
The movement has been serviced and is holding good time (+/- 7 s/day).
The acrylic crystal is in good condition, the black brown leather band is new.
Vintage watch without known history but serviced, checked and cleaned (09/2023). Water resistance non tested.
