Description
Lovely iconic vintage Seiko Marvel from 1958. 14k gold filled 33 mm case with snap back. The calibre is a mechanical Seikosha with 17 jewels.
I won’t write the whole story of the model, you’ll find it easily on the web, it is the one that really launched the success story of Seiko in the fifties.
The overall condition of the watch is good. The dial has some flaws and patina. Dauphine hands with some marks. The gold plating is in good condition.
The movement holds good time.
New crystal and new black leather band.
Vintage watch with unknown history but serviced (2020/03) checked and cleaned. Water resistance non tested.
