Description
This Seiko 5 is typical from the production of the 70’s, with its large case, remidning the space age design. It was released in August 1978 according to its serial number.
The watch is in its original condition, including the crystal and the stainless steel bracelet.
Two tones light and dark grey dial, day (in english and french) and date at 3, with working quickset for both of them.
The movement is a Seiko 17-jewel automatic 6309, well known by the diver’s watch afficionados, since it was the calibre of the Seiko Turtle from the 80’s. It has just been serviced (2020/11) and cleaned. It works fine (+10 s/d).
The overall condition is good to very good, the steel case and the crystal have only minor wear.
Vintage watch with unknown history but checked and cleaned. Water resistance non tested (so no dipping or shower with this watch).
