Description
This Seiko 5 Actus was marketed for the japanese domestic market. It was released in June 1973 according to its serial number.
The watch is in its original condition. The crystal has been replaced and the steel band is a generic one from the brand “Bear”. It fits nicely the watch.
Absolutely gorgeous green dial (which is much greener than it looks on the pictures), bâtons hands and steel hour markers. I can’t remember having seen this variation of Actus very often. Day (in english and kanji) and date at 3.
The movement is a Seiko 25-jewel automatic 6106. It has just been serviced and works fine (+/- 15 s/d).
The overall condition is good, the dial and hands are in excellent condition. The steel case has some normal wear.
Vintage watch with unknown history but serviced (2021/03) checked and cleaned. Water resistance non tested (so no dipping or shower with this watch).
The pictures are actual and are part of the description, so please look carefully at them.
