This is a nice example of the Seiko design and technical savoir-faire : a automatic flyback chronograph in a very nice designed case. It was released in January 1973 according to its serial number. This range is substantially rarer than the 6138/6139.
The watch is in its original condition except for the glass crystal, which has just been replaced and for the leather band of course.
Gorgeous deep blue dial in excellent condition, bâtons and orange triangle hands. Day (in english and kanji) and date at 3, with quickset on both.
The movement is a Seiko 21-jewel automatic 7015 with flyback function. It has just been serviced, it works fine (+/- 10 s/d). The chrono starts and stops, the reset/flyback comes back to its original position when pressing the lower pusher.
The overall condition is good, the big case has however some wear (some tiny dents) and the dial is in excellent condition.
Finally, the watch comes with a new leather band. Definetely a impressive watch, in good condition and fully working.
Vintage watch with unknown history but serviced (2020/04), checked and cleaned. Water resistance non tested (so no dipping or shower with this watch).
