Description
Lovely Seiko 5 Sportsmatic 6619-7070 in good overall condition. It was produced in December 1966 according to its serial number. These Seiko 5 Sportsmatic were very modern watches when they have been presented in 1964.
This Sportmatic is in its original condition, nice flawless silver dial, dauphine hands and steel hour markers. Days in English and date at 3 o’clock (with working quickset). The case is in good condition, with some normal light wear for an almost 60-year old watch.
The movement is a Seiko 21-jewel automatic 6619. It has been serviced, it works great, holding good time (gaining about 10 s/d), the balance having an good amplitude. The crystal might be original, I polished it.
Vintage watch without known history but serviced (11/2024) and cleaned. Water resistance non tested.
