Description
Beautiful late Seiko 5 Sportsmatic 6619-8140 in good condition. It was released in June 1967 according to its serial number. These Seiko Sportsmatic are a must have imo, they look modern and are reliable, so they are perfectly suited for an every day use.
This watch is in its original condition, nice flawless dial, dauphine hands and steel indexes. Day (in English) and date at 3. The case of this 2nd generation of Sportsmatic is in stainless steel and is in good condition, with some minor wear. The inner bezel has some damage at 5.
The movement is a Seiko 21-jewel automatic 6619. It works fine, holds very good time and is according to my experience one of the most reliable mid-range automatic movements ever made by Seiko.
The crystal is new, as is the brown leather band.
Vintage watch with unknown history but serviced (03/2021), cleaned and checked.
Water resistance non tested.
