Description
Gorgeous vintage Seiko 5 Sportsmatic Deluxe 7619-9010 automatic in good overall condition. It was released in April 1966 according to its serial number. These Seiko Sportsmatic Deluxe are an enhanced version of the 5 Sportsmatic with a date quickset (with a dedicated pusher), a stainless steel case and a better finishing.
This Sportmatic Deluxe is in its original condition, beautiful champagne dial with some sweet patina (the enamel cracked near the day & date window and on the edge, giving to the dial a lovely antique look), dauphine hands and steel hour markers, all in good condition. Day (in English) and date at 3 (with quickset). The case is in good condition, with minor wear.
The movement is a Seiko 25-jewel automatic 7619. It has been serviced, it works fine, holding good time (gaining about 10 s a day).
The crystal is new, as is the brown leather band.
Definitely a very classy watch, in good condition.
Vintage watch with unknown history but checked, serviced (11/2022) and cleaned. Water resistance non tested.
