Description
Very nice Seiko Automatic 6309-8020 from 1978, in its rarer steel/gold variation. The watch is in good overall condition.
The golden dial, hands and hour markers are flawless. The case has some normal wear, the plating on the bezel has slighlty faded. The original bracelet is in good condition, the plating on the centre links has faded on some of them. 09. It has been serviced (replacement of the floating pinnion, cleaning, relubing, tuning). It runs great, holding very good time (gaining about 5 s/d), the balance having an good amplitude. The acrylic crystal is original, I polished it.
The movement is the well-known Seiko 21-jewel automatic 6309. The days can be displayed in English or in Italian.
Vintage watch without known history but serviced (12/2024) and cleaned. Water resistance non tested.
