stunning black variation of the Seiko Champion Calendar 860, from June 1966. All stainless steel case with snap back in very good condition, original SW signed crown, original crystal.
The overall condition of the watch is good to very good, with only minor wear on the case. Nice dauphine hands, black dial in good condition but with a darker area in the centre. Date at 3 o’clock without quickset
The movement has just been serviced (mainspring replaced, 10/2021) and is holding excellent time (+/- 10 s/d).
The steel bracelet is a Seiko one, not sure if it is original but it’s old, probably from the 60’s too. The end links are integrated to the bracelet and aren’t removable as it was usually the case at this time. It’s in excellent condition and long enough for most wrists (at least up to 19 cm I think).
Vintage watch with unknown history but checked and cleaned. Water resistance non tested.
