Description
Gorgeous King Seiko KS Hi-beat 5626-7000, from August 1968, fitted with a high range 5626 automatic movement, with stop second and manual winding. The King Seiko range was at that time, along with the Grand Seiko, the top of the Seiko range.
The overall condition of this watch is good to very good.
The 7000 case, which is according to me one of the most beautiful, is in good condition. It has been slightly polished and has some minor flaws. The white dial and the hands are in very good condition, there is a small paint loss on the rim, between 5 and 6 (see pictures).
The back is in very good condition too, the gold medallion is here.
The movement has been serviced, the driving wheel and cannon pinion have been replaced, the wheel train disassembled, cleaned and lubed. It holds good time (+/- 10 s/d). The day and date quickset is working.
The crystal has been replaced. Finally, the stainless steel bracelet is new. It is quite short and will fit smaller wrists. Of course, it can be replaced by a leather band.
Vintage watch with unknown history but serviced (2020/07) checked and cleaned. Water resistance non tested.
The pictures are actual and part of the description, so take attention to them.
This watch has a 6-month guarantee.
