Description
Rare and very early Seiko LM Lord Matic 5606-7040 from January 1968, in full very good original condition, fitted with a mid range 5606 automatic movement, with hacking second and manual winding.
The overall condition of this watch is good to very good with minor wear on the case. The white textured dial is very nice, with some minor flaws.
The movement has just been serviced (May 2024) and is holding very good time (+/- 10 s/d). The day & date quickset is working.
The acrylic crystal seems original and in good condition. Finally, the watch comes with its original stainless bracelet, only Seiko is embossed on the clasp as it was usual on these early Lord Matics. The reference on the endlink is matching the case (5606 704).
A beautiful 55-year old model in very good condition and fully working.
Vintage watch without known history but serviced, checked and cleaned. Water resistance non tested.
