Seiko LM Special 5216-6120, 1973

Seldom Seiko LM Lord Matic Special 5206-6120, from January 1973, fitted with a mid range 5206 automatic movement, with stop second and manual winding. This “Lord Matic Special 5206” range was slightly higher positionned than the “Lord Matic 5606”, its movement being of better quality and reliabilityt according to me.

The overall condition of this watch is very good with only very light wear on the case. The dark grey dial and the hands are in excellent condition.
The movement is holding good time (+/- 10 s/d) and the day and date quickset IS WORKING (the 5206 calibre is not affected by the same frequent issue with the quickset that on the 5606 calibre). The days can be displayed in english or in japanese kanji.

The crystal is new. Finally, the steel bracelet is a generic one but fits perfectly the watch and is in good condition.

Vintage watch with unknown history but serviced (2020/08) checked and cleaned. Water resistance non tested.
