Gorgeous iconic vintage Seiko Marvel from 1958. Stainless steel 34 mm case with snap back. This case is quite big for a Marvel. The calibre is a mechanical Seikosha with 17 jewels.
I won’t write the whole story of the model, you’ll find it easily on the web, it is the one that really launched the success story of Seiko in the fifties.
The overall condition of the watch is good. The dial has some flaws and patina but at least it hasn’t been repainted. Dauphine hands with some marks.
The movement holds good time.
New crystal and new brown leather band.
Vintage watch with unknown history but serviced (2020/03) checked and cleaned. Water resistance non tested.
