Description
Lovely vintage Seiko Skyliner 6220-7080 from 1966. All stainless steel one piece tonneau case . The calibre is a beautiful mechanical Seiko 6220 with 21 jewels.
The Skyliner was I think, the last non automatic Seiko range. There were of course later mechanical Seikos but not a whole range.
The overall condition of the watch is good. The silver dial has some minor wear. The case is in good condition. The movement has a two piece split stem, making it possible to take the calibre out through the glass (just like the Seiko LM).
The movement has been serviced (second wheel replacement) and holds very good time.
Crystal in very good condition, new black leather band.
Vintage watch with unknown history but serviced (2021/07) checked and cleaned. Water resistance non tested.
