Description
Beautiful early Seiko Sportsman from August 1962. The early production of the Sportsman was characterised by its stainless steel case, unlike the later production which was based on a chromed brass case. As you can see, the case is in good to very good condition. The dial shows quite strong patina but I find it absolutely lovely. The crystal is used but still in good condition.
The Seikosha 4361 hand wound calibre runs flawlessly, it’s holding good time, the amplitude of the balance being excellent.
New black leather band.
Vintage watch with unknown history but serviced (02/2023), checked and cleaned. Water resistance non tested.
