Description
Unusual hand wound Seiko 2140-0020 from the elusive “Fashion watch” range. It was produced in July 1970 according to its serial number. These “Fashion watches” probably didn’t meet the success, they are quite difficult to find, even in Japan.
The condition of the watch is good, the round case is even in very good condition, the blue dial only has minimal wear. The acrylic crystal is in good condition as well, with hair scratches.

The movement is a hand wound Seiko 2140 beating at 19,800 bph. It has been serviced (tightening of the cannon pinion, cleaning, relubing), it works great, holding good time (gaining about 10 s/d), the balance having an good amplitude. The black leather band isnew.
Vintage watch without known history but checked, serviced (03/2025) and cleaned. Water resistance non tested.
