Description
Somptuous Seiko 5 Sportsmatic Deluxe 7619-9030 in good overall condition. It was produced in July 1966 according to its serial number. These Seiko Sportsmatic Deluxe are an enhanced version of the 5 Sportsmatic with a date quickset (with a dedicated pusher), a stainless steel case and a better finishing.
This Sportmatic Deluxe is in its original condition, nice champagne dial in good condition, dauphine hands and steel hour markers. Days in English and date at 3 o’clock (with working quickset). The case is in good condition, with some normal light wear for an almost 60-year old watch.
The movement is a Seiko 25-jewel automatic 7619. It has been serviced, it works great, holding good time (gaining about 10 s/d), the balance having an good amplitude. The crystal is original, I polished it and there are some minor scratches remaining. The leather band is new.
Vintage watch without known history but checked, serviced (12/2023) and cleaned. Water resistance non tested.
