Description
This Seiko automatic chronograph was released in August 1974 according to its serial number.
The watch is in its original condition except for the crystal which has been replaced.
Nice champagne dial in good condition, luminous patinated hour markers, batons hands, orange second hand and minute totalizer hand. Black sub dial. Day (in English and Spanish) and date at 3, with working quickset on both.
The movement is the classical Seiko 17-jewel automatic 6139. It has just been serviced (wheel train relubed, it works fine (+/- 15 s/d), the balance having a good amplitude. The chrono starts and stops, the reset comes perfectly back to its original position when pressing the lower pusher. The day and date quickset works.
The overall condition is good, the case having normal wear.
Finally, the watch comes with a new brown leather steel bracelet. Definetely a gorgeous watch, in good condition and fully working.
Vintage watch with unknown history but serviced, checked and cleaned (03/2021). Water resistance non tested (so no dipping or shower with this watch).
