Seiko LM Special 5206-6020, 1971

Seldom Seiko LM Lord Matic Special 5206-6020, from February 1971, fitted with a mid range 5206 automatic movement, with stop second and manual winding. This “Lord Matic Special 5206” range was slightly higher positionned than the “Lord Matic 5606”, its movement being of better quality and reliabilityt according to me.

The overall condition of this watch is very good with only light wear on the case. The black dial and the hands are in excellent condition.
The movement is holding good time (+/- 10 s/d) and the day and date quickset IS WORKING (the 5206 calibre is not affected by the same frequent issue with the quickset that on the 5606 calibre). The days can be displayed in english or in japanese kanji.

The crystal is original and in good condition despite a few thin scratches. Finally, the watch comes with a new dark brown leather bracelet.

Vintage watch with unknown history but serviced (2020/11) checked and cleaned. Water resistance non tested.
