It&#8217;s probably the most diverse range of watches, including dress watches, sports watches, chronographs, diver&#8217;s, ladies watches (in the 80&#8217;s), military style watches, etc. Some models are quite exotic, even with the moonphase (Yes, Seiko did a 5 with the moonphase).<br>All have of course these 5 common functions : they display time, day and date, are automatic, water resistant and shock proof.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-normal-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">The early Seiko 5 were really modern for their time, if you wanted similar functions on an European watch, you had to put quite lot of money on the table.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-normal-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">I listed these last days two early models from 1964 with a Seiko Sportsmatic 6619 calibre.
