En 1967, Seiko pr\u00e9sente son premier mouvement cadenc\u00e9 \u00e0 36 000 A\/h, le 5740C. C'est le deuxi\u00e8me au monde \u00e0 atteindre cette fr\u00e9quence, apr\u00e8s un calibre fabriqu\u00e9 par Girard-Perregaux.

Pour abriter ce nouveau mouvement, Seiko a utilis\u00e9 la gamme Lord Marvel, lanc\u00e9e quelques ann\u00e9es auparavant, et a modernis\u00e9 son design.
La Lord Marvel 5740-8000 36000 \u00ab LM36 \u00bb \u00e9tait n\u00e9e.

Pr\u00e9sentation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Le design de cette Lord Marvel est moderne pour 1967. Si le bo\u00eetier est de forme ronde, les cornes sont \"aig\u00fces\" et donnent un design plus sportif.
La montre affiche uniquement l'heure. Cette montre \u00e9tait vendue avec un bracelet en cuir noir et le bo\u00eetier \u00e9tait disponible en plaqu\u00e9 or ou en acier inoxydable. Deux cadrans \u00e9taient disponibles, un avec index chiffres arabes (r\u00e9f 8030) et un avec index b\u00e2tons (r\u00e9f 8020). Le mod\u00e8le eut une dur\u00e9e de vie assez longue, de 1967 \u00e0 1977 et \u00e9tait en fin de carri\u00e8re assez bon march\u00e9. Le mod\u00e8le en acier \u00e9tait vendu 14 000 yens en 1977, soit moins qu'un Seiko Actus de la m\u00eame ann\u00e9e.

Le cadran et les aiguilles<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Le cadran 8020 ne comporte que peu de marquages. Le logo Seiko est situ\u00e9 sous le rep\u00e8re 12 heures, comme d'habitude. Sur la moiti\u00e9 inf\u00e9rieure du cadran, nous avons l'inscription \u00ab Lord Marvel \u00bb en majuscules et juste en dessous, un frappant \u00ab 36000 \u00bb.
Comme d'habitude, tout en bas \u00ab JAPAN \u00bb et la r\u00e9f\u00e9rence du cadran (8020R AD).
Les index sont constitu\u00e9s de b\u00e2tons m\u00e9talliques en acier avec une bande noire, celui de 12 heures est doubl\u00e9.
Les aiguilles des heures et des minutes sont de type dauphine, la trotteuse est simple et fine.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Le bo\u00eetier<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Le bo\u00eetier de la 8000 ne mesure que 34,5 mm de large, ce qui \u00e9tait des dimensions assez standards dans la production europ\u00e9enne mais assez petite pour une Seiko.
La face ext\u00e9rieure du dos porte le logo Seiko entour\u00e9 des mentions habituelles sur le mat\u00e9riau du bo\u00eetier, les r\u00e9f\u00e9rences du mouvement et du bo\u00eetier et la r\u00e9sistance \u00e0 l'eau. Sur la photo de droite, vous pouvez voir la mention \u00ab Water proof \u00bb qui figurait uniquement sur les premiers mod\u00e8les, elle a ensuite \u00e9t\u00e9 interdite par la r\u00e9glementation am\u00e9ricaine et remplac\u00e9e par \u00ab Water resistant \u00bb. Enfin, le num\u00e9ro de s\u00e9rie unique est grav\u00e9 sous le logo.
Le verre est un verre acrylique traditionnel, press\u00e9 sur le bo\u00eetier.

Le mouvement<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Le mouvement 5740C est l'\u00e9volution ultime du Seikosha 560 du d\u00e9but des ann\u00e9es 60. Certaines pi\u00e8ces sont d\u2019ailleurs communes.
Il s'agit d'un mouvement \u00e0 remontage manuel avec 23 rubis.
La balance peut \u00eatre r\u00e9gl\u00e9e avec pr\u00e9cision en tournant la vis indiqu\u00e9e sur l'image de gauche.
Il est fiable et fonctionne g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement de mani\u00e8re tr\u00e8s stable. Le seul probl\u00e8me auquel j'ai d\u00fb faire face est un ressort moteur cass\u00e9. Heureusement, le mod\u00e8le est assez courant et les pi\u00e8ces d\u00e9tach\u00e9es \u00e9galement.

En conclusion<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Cette Lord Marvel fait partie de l'histoire de Seiko, \u00e9tant la premi\u00e8re montre \u00e0 36 000 A\/h fabriqu\u00e9e par le constructeur japonais.
Ce que j'aime particuli\u00e8rement avec ce mod\u00e8le, c'est sa simplicit\u00e9, l'affichage de l'heure est l'essence m\u00eame d'une montre et je n'aime pas trop les montres avec jour et date.
Et cerise sur le g\u00e2teau, lorsque vous posez votre oreille contre la montre, vous pouvez entendre ces incroyables 36 000 battements par heure. 10 par seconde.
