Quelques ann\u00e9es apr\u00e8s la pr\u00e9sentation de la Laurel Alpinist, premi\u00e8re montre sportive de Seiko, le fabricant japonais devait combler un manque important dans ses collections\u00a0: une montre de plong\u00e9e. Alors que les premiers fabricants suisses \u00e0 proposer une montre de plong\u00e9e optaient pour un bo\u00eetier avec lunette tournante externe (Rolex, Blancpain), Seiko choisit une autre solution technique, qui allait devenir populaire au Japon (Citizen Auto Dater, Orient King Diver)\u00a0: une lunette tournante interne actionn\u00e9e par la couronne.
La SilverWave est n\u00e9e, comme une variante de la Seikomatic ou de la Sportsmatic. Nous nous concentrerons ici sur la version Seikomatic J12082.

Pr\u00e9sentation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Le design de cette SilverWave est absolument \u00e9poustouflant. Le bo\u00eetier, simple et \u00e9l\u00e9gant, laisse toute la place au cadran et \u00e0 la lunette int\u00e9rieure. Une seule couronne permet de r\u00e9gler l'heure et d'ajuster la lunette, contrairement aux deux couronnes g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement pr\u00e9sentes sur les montres \u00e0 lunette int\u00e9rieure.
La montre affiche uniquement l'heure et, comme c'est souvent le cas sur les montres Seiko, il n'est pas possible de remonter le ressort moteur manuellement.

Le cadran et les aiguilles<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Il existait deux versions du cadran\u00a0; la plus recherch\u00e9e est la plus rare, orn\u00e9e d'un motif crois\u00e9, ce qui est assez unique \u00e0 mon avis. La mention \u2019\u00a0SilverWave\u00a0\u00bb est \u00e9crite en caract\u00e8res cursifs et sera conserv\u00e9e jusqu'aux mod\u00e8les SilverWave \u00e0 quartz des ann\u00e9es\u00a080.
La seconde version du cadran ne pr\u00e9sente pas ce motif crois\u00e9, mais porte la mention \u201c Water 50 proof \u201d juste en dessous du nom SilverWave.
Chaque marqueur horaire poss\u00e8de un carr\u00e9 lumineux sur sa face int\u00e9rieure.
La lunette int\u00e9rieure comporte une \u00e9chelle standard de 60 minutes et peut \u00eatre blanche ou noire.
Les aiguilles sont de type Dauphine avec un centre luminescent. Je pense qu'elles sont identiques \u00e0 celles des montres Alpinist et Weekdater 6206-8990. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Le bo\u00eetier<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Le bo\u00eetier est en acier inoxydable et poss\u00e8de un fond viss\u00e9.
Le fond arbore le logo SilverWave, qui \u00e9voque bien s\u00fbr la grande vague de Kanagawa d'Hokusai. La couronne, assez grande, offre une bonne prise en main (peut-\u00eatre m\u00eame trop, en plong\u00e9e\u00a0?) et se retrouve sur plusieurs mod\u00e8les Seiko \u00e0 lunette interne (comme la Seiko 6217).
Le verre est en acrylique, press\u00e9 sur le bo\u00eetier et maintenu par la lunette ext\u00e9rieure. Son profil particulier assure le maintien de la lunette int\u00e9rieure rotative. L'entre-corne mesure 18 mm.

Le mouvement<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Le mouvement Seikosha 603, dans sa version 20 rubis, \u00e9quipe g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement la Seikomatic. C'est un calibre simple, fiable et peu co\u00fbteux \u00e0 entretenir.

En conclusion<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Cette Seikomatic SilverWave est un mod\u00e8le embl\u00e9matique de la production Seiko. Elle est assez rare, surtout en bon \u00e9tat, m\u00eame au Japon. Nombre de ces J12082 pr\u00e9sentent des traces d'usure, parfois importantes, avec des lunettes d\u00e9color\u00e9es, des cadrans tach\u00e9s et des verres cass\u00e9s.

Mais si vous en trouvez une, je vous jure que vous sourirez la premi\u00e8re fois que vous l'enroulerez autour de votre poignet. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
