Il Seikomatic Weekdater 6206-8990 \u00e8 stato un modello molto popolare lanciato nel 1964. \u00c8 stato il primo a utilizzare il movimento 6206, derivato dai calibri Seikosha 400 e Seiko 6218.
Mi piace particolarmente questo modello, \u00e8 perfettamente bilanciato, la cassa \u00e8 un mix di design classico e moderno, con anse spigolose. Il quadrante \u00e8 ampio e sembra quasi uscire dal polso.
Era disponibile in diverse varianti, sempre con lo stesso quadrante bianco. Le lancette e la lunetta interna potevano essere diverse, con o senza materiale luminescente, e la cassa poteva essere placcata in oro.
