Spesso Orient viene considerato un semplice marchio secondario di Seiko (il che \u00e8 effettivamente vero), ma in passato, soprattutto negli anni '60, la sua produzione possedeva quel "non so che" che rendeva i suoi orologi davvero unici. Il design era molto accattivante e producevano i propri movimenti. Adoro alcuni dei loro primi modelli: Royal Orient, Olympia Orient, Kind Diver. Alcuni dei loro orologi subacquei sono semplicemente incredibili, purtroppo \u00e8 quasi impossibile trovarne uno in buone condizioni a un prezzo ragionevole.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dagli anni '70 in poi, le cose cambiarono e i loro orologi divennero piuttosto vistosi e kitsch\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Questo fine settimana ho messo in vendita due orologi Orient AAA Swimmer, credo dello stesso periodo. Entrambi sono splendidi, con lunetta scanalata (una caratteristica piuttosto comune per gli Orient) e funzionano perfettamente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
