Description
Original Orient AAA Swimmer, probably from the period 1968-1969. Beautiful 37.5 mm wide stainless steel case, white dial with days in japanese Kanji at 6 and date at 3 (date with quickset), fluted bezel, unusual horizontal hour markers and a big nice steel crown.
Good overall cosmetic condition, with some light wear on the case and the dial. The leather bracelet is new, the crystal has been replaced.
The movement is an automatic 19 jewels Orient 1940. It has been serviced in November, 2020.
It holds good time, the drift is about 15 seconds a day and the amplitude of the balance is good.
A nice original model, with quite large dimensions making it still wearable regarding the modern standards.
Vintage watch with unknown history but serviced, checked and cleaned (November 2020). Water resistance non tested.
