Description
Watch & Vintage proposes this unusual Seiko 5 which was released in October 1968.
The design of the case is not common, as if it were cropped on both sides.
The watch is in its original condition, which is good. The crystal has been replaced. The bezel has some dents.
The dial looks good. Day (in English) and date at 3, with quickset for the date only.
The movement is a Seiko 21-jewel automatic 6119. It works fine (+/- 15 s/d), has just been serviced (2021/04). Date quickset parts were missing, they have been replaced.
The steel bracelet seems original to the model and has light wear.
A nice model, with a rarely seen case.
Vintage watch with unknown history but serviced, checked and cleaned. Water resistance non tested (so no dipping or shower with this watch).
