Description
Beautiful Seiko LM Lord Matic Special 5216-7040 from February 1975, fitted with a high range 5216 automatic movement beating at 28,800 bph, with stop second, instant day & date shifting and manual winding feature.
The overall condition of this watch is very good with light wear on the case. The magnificient green dial is flawless, as are the hands. The days can be displayed in English or in japanese Kanji.
The movement has been serviced and is holding good time (+/- 10 s/d). The day and date quickset is working. The 52xx calibre family is one of the best ever made by Seiko according to me, it led by the way to the much more recent 4S15 movement.
The glass crystal is new. Finally, the watch comes with its original stainless steel bracelet.
Vintage watch with unknown history but serviced (06/2022) checked and cleaned. Water resistance non tested.
