Beautiful Orient Weekly AAA, probably from the late 60’s. Nice 37 mm wide stainless steel case in good condition, original “Orient” crown, splendid dark blue dial in very good condition. Days in japanese Kanji at 6 o’clock and date at 3 o’clock (date with working quickset).
The leather bracelet is new, as is the crystal.
The movement is a hand wound 19 jewels Orient. This movement is probably one of very few proposing the combination of a hand wound mainspring and the day and date display.
It’s keeping good time, the shifting is about -5 seconds a day and the amplitude of the balance is good (about 230°).
A very nice model, with quite large dimensions making it still wearable regarding the modern standards.
Vintage watch with unknown history but servicved, checked and cleaned (07/2025). Water resistance non tested.
