Beautiful Orient Weekly Auto AAA Swimmer, probably from the period 1967-1968. Beautiful 37.5 mm wide stainless steel case, white dial with days in japanese Kanji at 6 and date at 3 (date with quickset), fluted bezel.
Good overall cosmetic condition, with some light wear on the case. The leather bracelet is new, the crystal has been replaced.
The movement is an automatic 21 jewels Orient 1942. It has been serviced, two parts from the day and date mechanism have been replaced.
It holds good time, the drift is about 15 seconds a day and the amplitude of the balance is good.
A classy/sporty model, with quite large dimensions making it still wearable regarding the modern standards.
Vintage watch with unknown history but serviced, checked and cleaned (November 2020). Water resistance non tested.
