Description
Classic Seiko 5 Sportsmatic 6619-7990 in good overall condition. It was released in December 1964 according to its serial number. These Seiko Sportsmatic are a must have imo, they look modern and are reliable, so they are perfectly suited for an every day use.
This watch is in its original condition, nice white dial with minor wear, dauphine hands and steel indexes. Day (in english) and date at 3. The case of this 1st generation of Sportsmatic is made of chromed brass and is in good condition, but with pitting on the back.
The movement is a Seiko 21-jewel automatic 6619. It works fine, holds very good time and is according to my experience one of the most reliable mid-range automatic movements ever made by Seiko. The watch has been serviced in December, 2020.
The crystal is new, as is the brown leather band.
Vintage watch with unknown history but checked and cleaned. Water resistance non tested.
