Description
Gorgeous vintage Seiko 5 Sportsmatic Deluxe 7619-9020 in good overall condition. It was released in August 1966 according to its serial number. These Seiko Sportsmatic Deluxe are an enhanced version of the 5 Sportsmatic with a date quickset (with a dedicated pusher), a stainless steel case and a better finishing.
This unusual black variation of the Sportmatic Deluxe is in its original condition, nice black dial, dauphine hands and steel indexes. Day (in english) and date at 3 (with quickset). The case is in good condition, with some normal wear on the lower lugs. The fluted bezel is beautiful and enhances the beauty of the dial.
The movement is a Seiko 25-jewel automatic 7619. It works very well, holds good time (gaining about 10 s a day) and has a good amplitude.
The crystal has been replaced by a NOS standard vintage reference and is in very good condition. The leather bracelet is new.
Finally, the watch comes with its original box, which is very, very rare. The box is in good condition, with some wear as you can see. All the accessories seem to be here.
