Description
This is a nice example of the Seiko design and technical savoir-faire : an automatic chronograph in a very nice designed case, with a gorgeous dial. It was released in February 1971 according to its serial number and was marketed for the japanese domestic market (JDM)
Back dial with some spots but in good condition, batons hands, yellow second and minute totalizer hand. Half black – half blue minute sub dial. Day (in English and Kanji) and date at 3, with quickset on both.
The movement is a Seiko 21-jewel automatic 6139. It has just been serviced, it works fine (+/- 10 s/d), the balance having a good amplitude. The chrono starts and stops, the reset comes perfectly back to its original position when pressing the lower pusher. The day and date quickset works.
The overall condition is good, the big pillow case has some minor wear. The acrylic crystal is new (The original one has some scratches, it will be provided).
Finally, the watch comes with a vintage steel bracelet which suits very well the watch, it has an horizontal brushing, like the case.
Definetely a impressive watch, in good condition and fully working.
